Racism=judo Kick!

Racism has affected many of people, I’ve witnessed many situations. This situation I have acted against racism.

It was grade 7 and it was the second day of school. We were walking towards the bus at 3:30, this kid who was older then us, he was black. My friend and I were walking and he was approaching us, and no lie, he kicked her straight into the stomach and I asked what his problem was (maybe threw in some more graphic words) and he started to say racist things, such as “why are you wearing muck lucks, you’re whiter the snow”, and began to say stereotypes to my friend. He wasn’t saying these thing to me but to my friend. This is where things got ugly, he began to say things to me now. He kept repeating “I f--ked your grandma” and something along the lines of imbreaders. My fighting senses came in and in the matter of 5 seconds I threw my backpack and grabbed this boy by his collar and threw him to the ground. I started screaming and cursing as I sat on him and consistently punching his face with my fists! He started to cry but i didn’t care, i was so angry at him for being racist to my friend and just for saying things to me that were inappropriate. He was suspended after I beat him up.

I guess I should have approached this situation a little differently but I think fighting solves a lot of problems. I am not ashamed, or apologetic to this boy. I could recommend to approach situations like this without fighting the person or persons, but I would be a hypocrite. Just judo flip these kids, I’m serious. Seriously.
