Racism
Racism is very easy to notice. Especially to the person who is the one getting the racism aimed towards them. I was told a story one time by my cousin who has a different coloured girlfriend, they have a very interesting situation that some people seem to notice. They were walking through the mall one day just like a normal couple, they got many strange looks from all sorts of people. The old people who have been around racism all of their lives gave dirty looks. Teens the same race as my cousin, even glanced at the situation. The ones they really noticed were the other black people, who obviously had mixed emotions. Some would smile at the both of them but then the rest would give dirty looks as they walked by. What are these looks supposed to mean? Im sure if it was two white people walking together, no one would even notice they were people and continue walking. Racism can be very hurtful thing, even if it is just a look and nothing is even said.

Two people who are different races can get mixed reactions from people. Some people are accepting and some disagree with it completely. I think people should be able to date whoever they choose to no matter what race they are.

ReplyDeleteYA! Race makes no difference. We are all still people, that act the same way. It doesn't matter what a person looks like, it just matter what the feelings they have for each other are.

ReplyDeleteThat is horrible. I couldn't even imagine. People are rude and senial. Screw them all for being rude to very nice people. Ugh!
